📄️ Dashboard Execution
In dReveal Enterprise, running a dashboard report is a simple and efficient process that allows users to obtain interactive visualizations and real-time updated data.
📄️ Filters
This functionality is essential in reports because it allows users to personalize the data displayed in real-time, in a dynamic and interactive way. Dashboards provide a variety of visualizations, such as charts, tables, and other visual elements, but it is the filters that make these reports highly personalized and useful for different analytical needs. With the filters, users can restrict and segment the data, enabling a more detailed and specific analysis without having to navigate through large amounts of information. The different types of filters are detailed below:
📄️ Master Filter
The Master Filter is a feature that allows you to apply a global filter to a set of visualizations within a dashboard. By selecting a value in a chart, it becomes the filter criterion for all other connected visualizations. This functionality can be applied to the following types of charts: Grid, Bar, Line, Scatter, Pies, Gauges, Cards, Treemap.
📄️ Swap
The Swap option in a chart allows users to switch the position of the "Y Axis" with the "Series," providing a flexible and dynamic way to analyze data.
📄️ Change Values in X/Y Axes and Series
The Change Values in X/Y Axes and Series option allows users to select different values to display on the "X/Y Axes" and "Series" of a chart. This functionality provides flexibility for analyzing information from different perspectives, adapting the chart to the user's specific needs.
📄️ Resize Charts
In this section, users can see three options that allow them to adjust the size of the charts within the dashboard to better fit their visual needs. These options provide flexibility for customizing the chart display, enabling them to adapt to both the available space in the dashboard and the user's preferences. The options are as follows:
🗃️ Chart Menu Option
8 items
📄️ Edit Mode
The Edit Mode in a dashboard allows users to make modifications to the charts. This functionality is essential for customizing the dashboard according to the user's specific needs, such as deleting charts, moving charts to different positions, and applying configurations to the charts.
📄️ Save State
The Save State feature in a dashboard allows users to save the current configuration, including applied filters, modified values of the "Y Axis" and "Series," chart sizes, or any other customizations made. This option helps maintain workflow continuity and ensures that users can resume their analysis exactly where they left off.
📄️ Export
The Export functionality in the Dashboard allows users to download or share their reports and visualizations in various formats. There are three ways to export a report, and each offers different export formats. These export methods are: External Export, Internal Export, and Individual Export.
📄️ Drill-Through
Drill-Through is a type of grid report configured within a dashboard report. It allows users to view more detailed and specific information about a chart element or the entire chart. The Drill-Through report will open in a new browser tab.
