Filter Elements

The Filter Elements Chart allows users to quickly and efficiently filter and view specific data within a chart. This type of chart is especially useful in dashboards where users need to focus on specific subsets of data for detailed analysis. Through filters, users can customize the visualization based on different criteria, enhancing understanding and decision-making. Below, we will detail the different types of filters:

Combo Box

The options vary depending on the type of chart. The Combo Box dashboard allows end users to choose a value(s) from the drop-down list. The user has the following options.

TYPEStandard/CheckedThis option allows the user to define the type of combo box: Standard - The Standard type enables end users to select only a single value. Checked - The Checked type enables end users to select multiple values from the drop-down list. This option includes an "All" item that lets end users select/deselect all items in the Combo Box.
ALLOW EMPTY FILTERON/OFFThis option enables the user to choose whether or not to display a default selected value in the filter. It is only available for the Standard filter type.
ENABLE SEARCHON/OFFThis option allows the user to enable or disable the functionality to search for specific values. Please note that the "All" value is excluded from the search functionality.

How to Apply the Settings of the 'Menu' Option

To apply the settings in a chart, first enter your username and password, then click the Login button. Once logged in, navigate to the report you want to run and double-click it to open. Next, click the Apply button to display the report. Once the report is loaded, click on the Menu option located at the top right of the chart; the icon is a gear. The available options for configuring the chart will then be displayed.

List Box

The options vary depending on the type of chart. The List Box dashboard allows end users to choose a value(s) from the list. The user has the following options.
